Coming in October,, 1% CLUB Basketball will be organizing
the 2nd Annual "Central Cali Finest", Instructional
/ Exposure showcase for the top 125 players of the Central
Valley. Teaming with the staff of Fresno
City Junior College Mens Basketball staff (2007 JC State
Champions), and Co-Director Phil
Doherty (Bay
Area Hoosiers), the showcase will once again involve
elite level skill training followed by evaluated team games
in front of college coaches and recruiting analysts.
The event tenatively
will include recruiting analysts or written reports by californiapreps.com,
ESPN.com, Hoop Review, and norcalpreps.com, with the focus
of drawing needed attention to the hidden talent of the
central valley. 1% CLUB is widely respected in Northern
California, running the top showcase events in the bay area..
Says event director Jeremy Russotti, "Last years event
couldn't have gone any better for the first year. We expect
the event to grow to one of the top events in California.
"
Last years
event included 118 players, ranging from Bakersfield to
Stockton. The list for invited players will be posted here
this summer. Invitations will be sent to the Varsity high
school coaches (or Athletic Directors) at that time. Stay
